Room 8 Group is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to collaborate with a client on game development projects. The role involves establishing strong pipeline documentation standards and process improvements. The Technical Writer will work closely with a Production expert to structure and formalize documentation practices, interview developers to create clear documentation for complex technical processes, and develop tutorials for engine, tools, and development workflows. This position requires strong technical writing skills and familiarity with software development.

The objective is to help establish a stronger standard for pipeline documentation and process improvements;</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Navigate the complexity of GAME development and will be paired with a Production expert at STUDIO;</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Work closely together to structure, formalize, and elevate our documentation practices to set the standard on how it should be done;</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Interview and collaborate with developers to create consistently clear and digestible documentation for technically sophisticated processes;</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Work with developers across multiple fields who are subject matter experts in a variety of subjects;</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Create tutorials and walkthroughs related to using our engine, tools, and development processes.</li></ul>
