As a Senior UI Designer at Snowprint, you will focus on the award-winning game Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus. You will have ownership and influence in shaping the visual structure and interaction patterns of new features, evolving the game's overall UI direction. You’ll be trusted with ownership and have real influence in shaping the visual structure and interaction patterns of new features, while helping to evolve the overall UI direction of the game.You will see the direct impact of your work in a live game with a dedicated audience and a tight release cadence. You’ll also update and refine existing UI where needed to improve clarity, consistency and the overall user experience.Your daily work will involve design work in tools such as Figma, Google Slides and Photoshop, creating design decks for upcoming features, integrating UI in Unity, testing in-game and iterating based on feedback from both colleagues and players. With Tacticus being a live game with a tight release cadence, you will see the impact of your work quickly and learn directly from real player behaviour.While the focus is on UI, the role also includes UX-related work, such as contributing to user flows, clarifying interaction patterns and helping ensure that features are easy to understand and navigate.<h3 class="text-xl md:text-2xl font-bold mt-8 mb-3 text-gray-800">Is this you?</h3>You are an experienced UI/UX designer with experience from the mobile game industry, which means you are comfortable designing for small screens and touch interaction.You have experience working with at least one of the following aspects of games:<ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed">Free to play</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Midcore</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Turn based strategy</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Live operations</li><li class="leading-relaxed">External IP</li></ul>You have experience implementing UI in Unity and enjoy working closely with other disciplines to bring features from concept through to release. With your experience, you take responsibility for pushing quality, giving constructive feedback, and supporting your teammates in making clear, well-informed decisions.You speak and write English fluently.<h3 class="text-xl md:text-2xl font-bold mt-8 mb-3 text-gray-800">Where you’ll work</h3>Our Berlin studio is in Mitte, with a hybrid working model. We work from the office Tuesdays and Fridays, to allow for closer collaboration and socializing, other days it's up to everyone where they feel most comfortable to work.
