Self-custodial, fast, and intuitive, UR turns complex crypto workflows into a seamless everyday experience.</p><p class="my-4 text-gray-700 leading-relaxed">The FX & Treasury Operations Manager will ensure we run <strong>competitive, efficient, and compliant foreign exchange operations</strong> while building out the backbone of our treasury processes.</p><p class="my-4 text-gray-700 leading-relaxed"><strong>The north star: get better FX rates for our users and ensure seamless backend settlement.</strong></p><h2 class="text-2xl md:text-3xl font-bold mt-10 mb-4 border-b pb-2 text-gray-800">Responsibilities</h2><ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed"><strong>FX Trading & Rate Management</strong></li><li class="leading-relaxed">Negotiate and secure better FX spreads with partner banks/liquidity providers.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Monitor daily FX exposure and execute trades to optimize costs.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Implement hedging strategies where relevant.</li><li class="leading-relaxed"><strong>Treasury & Settlement Operations</strong></li><li class="leading-relaxed">Oversee backend payment operations, including daily reconciliations, settlement flows, and exception handling.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Ensure smooth treasury movements across multiple currencies and accounts with partner bank and other PSPs.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Coordinate with finance on cashflow forecasting and liquidity management.</li><li class="leading-relaxed"><strong>Risk & Compliance Alignment</strong></li><li class="leading-relaxed">Monitor for FX, liquidity, and operational risks; propose mitigation measures.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Work closely with compliance teams to ensure all FX/treasury ops meet regulatory standards.</li><li class="leading-relaxed"><strong>Process & System Building</strong></li><li class="leading-relaxed">Partner with product/engineering to optimize FX rate engines and backend ops tools.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Define and implement SOPs for treasury and trading operations.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Continuously improve efficiency, scalability, and accuracy of settlement processes.</li></ul><h2 class="text-2xl md:text-3xl font-bold mt-10 mb-4 border-b pb-2 text-gray-800">What We're Looking For</h2><ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed">5–8 years in <strong>FX trading, treasury ops, or payments treasury</strong> (bank, fintech, or PSP background preferred).</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Solid understanding of <strong>cross-border payment flows, FX markets, and settlement mechanics</strong>.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Hands-on in running <strong>treasury ops and reconciliations</strong>—not just policy-level.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Strong analytical mindset; experience working with liquidity providers, custodians, and banking partners.</li></ul><p class="my-4 text-gray-700 leading-relaxed"><em>If you think you have valuable experience to bring to the organization, but don’t necessarily meet all of the criteria for the role, we still want to hear from you.
