The IT Infrastructure Automation Consultant will design and implement automation solutions for IT infrastructure management, utilizing tools like Ansible, Terraform, Chef, and Puppet. Responsibilities include developing scripts in Python, PowerShell, and Bash; troubleshooting automation issues; collaborating with cross-functional teams; documenting processes; and staying updated on industry trends. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure automation and strong expertise in network, storage, and compute. They will streamline processes, ensure seamless integration of automated solutions, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.

Must have:

5+ years IT infrastructure automation experience
Proficiency in Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet
Python, PowerShell, and Bash scripting skills
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Knowledge of network, storage, and compute

Good to have:

Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP

Proven experience in handling infrastructure automation projects.Job Summary:

We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Automation Consultant with expertise in automating IT infrastructure processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network, storage, and compute, along with proficiency in configuration management tools and scripting languages.Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement automation solutions for IT infrastructure management.

Utilize configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, and Puppet to streamline processes.

Develop scripts using Python, PowerShell, and shell scripting (Bash) for automation tasks.

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure automation issues, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automated solutions.

Document automation processes and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in infrastructure automation.Technical Skills:

Knowledge of IT infrastructure components (network, storage, compute).

Proficiency in configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet).

Strong programming skills in Python.

Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Shell).

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
