Job Description(2D Game Artist)
We are expanding our team and looking for a creative and energetic 2D Game Artist to join us. In this position, you will be creating compelling, emotionally impactful artwork that fits and enhances the established style and branding of our mobile platforms.
We have a fast-paced and collaborative environment where you will work with art-directors, game designers, producers and programmers in the creation and implementation of leading-edge games and their features.
Responsibilities
To design and illustrate for games.
Ability to push creative projects from conception to the final execution.
Collaborating with the team on the execution of both large and small projects with the same enthusiasm.
Maintaining existing products and providing assets for marketing purposes.

Have traditional & computer art and design skills.
Awareness of colour, modelling and texturing techniques.
Games UI experience, logo creation, digital painting.

Coming up with new and appealing game ideas and storytelling ability.
Developing gameplay ideas with creativity.
Experimenting with themes & genres with artistic vision.
Developing characters, storylines and designing storyboards.
Developing maps, scenarios, and levels of difficulty.
Coming up with ways of winning and losing the game.
Developing user interface(menus and controls) concepts.
Improving existing games by acquiring a wide-range of knowledge in the gaming domain.
Use your creativity to design games for a range of devices and platforms that engage and capture the imagination of the user.
Consider, plan and detail every element of a new game including the setting, rules, story flow, props, vehicles, character interface and modes of play.
Put together a concept document and use this to convince the development team that the game is worth proceeding with.
Conduct market research to understand what the target audience wants.
Transform a rough idea into a detailed concept and then implement it.
Work collaboratively with games developers, artists and programmers to produce a prototype - a small-scale playable version of the game.
Make adjustments to the game design specifications to reflect developments as the project moves forward.
Train quality assurance(QA) testers to play the game, so they can test it properly.
Lead on the user experience(UX) design of the game, ensuring players have the best experience.
Work alone or within a larger team overseen by a Lead Artist.
Knowledge of 2D and 3D modelling and animation packages.
Any graduate. BFA certification is a plus.
Technologies
Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Maya and 3ds Max.
Animation Tools: Spine 2D, Dragon Bones and Adobe Animate.
Knowledge on Unity 3D, Tile Editor, Sound Editing Tools and XD.
Experience: Fresher to 1 year
