About the job

Overview

The 3D Animator plays a key role in creating visually stunning and dynamic animation content. This position is crucial in bringing life to characters, environments, and props, contributing significantly to the overall visual appeal of projects within the organization. The 3D Animator will work closely with the creative team and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality, engaging, and innovative animation content.

Key Responsibilities

Create 3D models, textures, and animations for characters, environments, and props

Collaborate with the creative team to develop concept art and storyboards

Use animation software to rig and animate characters and objects

Apply lighting and rendering techniques to enhance visual appeal

Ensure consistency of visual style and quality across all animations

Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards

Take ownership of assigned tasks and demonstrate creativity in problem-solving

Review and iterate on animation feedback from the team and stakeholders

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance animation quality

Collaborate with other animators and artists to create seamless and captivating animations

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Animation, Design, or related field

Proven experience as a 3D Animator or similar role

Demonstrated proficiency in 3D modeling and animation software

Strong understanding of texturing and lighting techniques

Portfolio showcasing diverse and high-quality animations

Excellent knowledge of character rigging and animation principles

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Exceptional time management and organizational skills

Creative mindset with a strong attention to detail

Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
