Role Overview
Due to significant increase in demand, they are now looking for a talented and creative 3D Artist who has a strong understanding of 3D modelling, texturing, and animation. The post holder will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D assets for a variety of learning and development projects, including VR and AR applications, eLearning modules, and interactive simulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality, detailed 3D models from CAD files, concept sketches, reference images, and verbal descriptions.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and other team members to ensure visual elements align with the overall project goals.
- Apply textures and shaders to 3D models to achieve realistic surfaces.
- Develop animations for characters, objects, and scenes, bringing them to life with convincing movement.
- Set up lighting for 3D scenes to enhance mood and visual appeal.
- Optimize 3D assets for performance without compromising quality.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and techniques to continuously improve content.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven commercial experience as a 3D Artist, experience in learning and development or spatial computing/AR/VR would be beneficial.
- Proficiency in 3D modelling software such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
- Strong understanding of texture mapping, lighting, rendering and animation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.
