About the role

• Our 3D Artists work with the art director and 3D art leads to ensure that all characters are visually consistent and meet the project's quality standards. You'll collaborate closely with game designers, developers, and other artists to ensure the seamless integration of your artwork into our blockchain-powered games. Our 3D Artists should have excellent people skills, business acumen, and an exemplary work ethic. We want someone with experience and passion for web3, cryptocurrency, and NFTs. We would love someone with a deep passion for games, strong product management skills, and an impressive track record for working in a fast-paced, evolving, creative-minded environment

What you'll do

• 3D Modeling with design skills applied to voxel based characters, props and environmental assets.
• Collaborate with the game design and programming teams to ensure that all assets are optimized for mobile devices and meet performance requirements.</li>
• Utilize software such as Blender, Maya, and Unity with strong technical knowledge of each.
• Apply 2D concept art skills to support character and prop design when needed.
• Continuously improve skills and stay up-to-date with the latest techniques, tools, and best practices in the mobile game industry.&nbsp
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall development process.</li>
• Assist in the creation of high-quality, optimized 3D characters and character prop assets for mobile games.
• Consistent, high-quality contributions to the creation of visually stunning and immersive mobile game characters.
• Effective communication and collaboration with fellow character artists and department lead

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in 3D Art, Illustration, Concept, UX/ UI Design, VFX Animation, or a related field
• Core understanding of 3D modeling and texturing using software such as Maya/3ds Max/Blender, Photoshop, and Substance.
• Basic knowledge of rigging and animation is a plus.
• Fundamental knowledge of mobile optimization techniques and best practices
• Experience working with highly technical engineering teams and driving complex projects from ideation to implementation to feature launch successfully
• Self-motivated, stellar work
