Job Description

The 3D Artist will create 3D models based on concepts, handle UV mapping and texture baking, modify existing meshes, and set up assets and materials in game engines like Unreal Engine and Unity. The role requires close collaboration with art and tech art departments to meet technical and aesthetic requirements. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in game development and possess a strong understanding of art fundamentals. Responsibilities also include creating assets consistent with the game vision.

Must Have:

Hi-poly and low-poly modeling skills.

Understanding of import and materials setting in engines.
2+ years of game dev 3D Artist experience.
Portfolio is required.

Main responsibilities

Create 3d models based on given concepts or references (High, Mid and Low-poly);
Create UV mapping and texture baking (normal, AO, etc.);
Work with existing meshes (retexturing, modification, creation of atlases, etc.);
Import assets and materials setup in game engines (UnrealEngine, Unity);
Сlose cooperation with the Art and TechArt Departments to ensure assets meet technical and aesthetic requirements.

Required skills

Ability to create 3D assets consistent with the game vision;
Strong understanding of art fundamentals (composition, light, color, form, shape, structure and silhouette);
Hi-poly and low-poly modeling skills, UV mapping, baking, texturing;
Use of popular industry programs for content creation;
Understanding of the import and materials setting in the engines (UnrealEngine, Unity);
2+ years of experience as a game dev 3D Artist;
Portfolio is required;
Attention to details.
