Job Description

This is a full-time 3D Character Artist position based in Cyprus. The role requires extensive experience in the gaming industry, encompassing the full 3D character pipeline. Responsibilities include creating high and low-poly models, sculpting, retopology, UV mapping, texturing, and working with PBR textures. A strong understanding of anatomy, proficiency in software such as Maya/Blender/Modo, Substance Painter, and ZBrush are crucial. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a professional portfolio showcasing their skills and the ability to adapt to varying project aesthetics. Creative problem-solving and an interest in the gaming industry are highly valued.

Must have:

Extensive gaming industry experience
3D modeling, UV mapping, texturing
PBR workflow knowledge
Maya/Blender/Modo, Substance Painter proficiency
ZBrush & retopology expertise
Strong anatomy knowledge
Professional portfolio

Good to have:

Creative approach to unusual tasks
Texture drawing skills
Interest in gaming industry

You are our person if you have:

extensive experience in the gaming industry as a character 3D modeler
experience in 3D modeling, UV mapping
texturing skills
understanding of PBR
experience with 3D modeling and texturing packages (Мaya/Blender/Modo, Substance Painter)
knowledge of ZBrush and the retopology technique
professional portfolio
great knowledge of the anatomy basics and the ability to adjust to the project’s aesthetic

ability to creatively approach unusual tasks
ability to draw textures
interest in the gaming industry

Some points on tasks:

creating high and low poly models (characters)
creating models in full pipeline (sculpting, retopology, modeling, UV mapping, texturing)
working with PBR textures and complying with the project’s aesthetic
