Liquid Development, founded in 2000, is the largest outsourcing art studio in North America, known for its collaborative and cutting-edge work on AAA titles like Halo, Mass Effect, and Call of Duty. The role involves creating compelling character assets with high technical skill, including sculpting organic and hard surface details, and creating clean bakes and textures using Substance Painter. The artist will work within an experienced and supportive team on various AAA titles.

We're seeking a talented 3D Character Artist to create compelling and high-quality character assets for new and exciting projects. Candidates must have a high technical skill level and proficiency in sculpting both organic and hard surface details, use proper low poly and UV techniques and the ability to create clean bakes and textures using Substance Painter. In return, you will be part of an experienced, creative, and supportive team working on various AAA titles!

Some of the cool stuff you'll be doing:

  • Work with a collaborative team to mentor peers & foster skill sharing
  • Sculpting organic modeling in Substance Painter and Zbrush
  • Creating both high resolution 3D sculpts and final low polygon game assets
  • Animating characters, props, & more on a variety of AAA titles
  • Working closely with an experienced art management team

Liquid Development played a huge part in Tiny Tina's 3D environments, 3D weapon and props designs, and more! After collaborating half a decade with 343 Industries to bring this title to life, Liquid Development is humbled to have had the opportunity to make much of the games armors, characters, creatures, hair, weapons, props, level design, and VFX.
