3D Designer/SketchUp

We are seeking a talented and experienced 3D Designer . As a 3D Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed and visually appealing 3D models and designs using SketchUp software. Your designs will play a crucial role in the proposal development of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop 3D Models:
• Utilize SketchUp software to create accurate and detailed 3D models of products.
• Transform conceptual ideas, sketches, or specifications into realistic 3D designs.
• Ensure that designs meet functional, aesthetic, and manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborate with Proposal Team:
• Work closely with sales and estimators to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Provide design input and suggestions to enhance product performance, usability, and visual appeal.
• Produce Technical Drawings and Renderings:
• Generate technical drawings and specifications based on the 3D models.
• Create realistic renderings and visualizations to showcase product features and designs.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all technical documentation.
• Stay Updated on Product Changes:
• Keep abreast of product development advancements.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Engineering in product changes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a 3D Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and expertise in SketchUp.
• Proficiency in SketchUp software and other 3D modeling tools.
• Solid understanding of product design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret and translate client requirements into innovative design solutions.
• Excellent visualization and communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and concepts effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines
• Familiarity with prototyping processes and experience working closely with engineers and manufacturers is an advantage.
