Job Description
Virtuos, a renowned game development company, seeks a 3D Environment Artist for its Dalat, Vietnam studio (Glass Egg). Responsibilities include collaborating with teams to meet client needs, creating high-quality 3D assets (environments, vehicles, props, etc.), adhering to art direction, meeting deadlines, and providing consistent quality. The ideal candidate possesses expert skills in 3DS Max/Maya, Photoshop/Substance Painter, strong artistic vision, and excellent communication and teamwork skills. Experience in Zbrush and Substance Designer is a plus. Must have:
- Expert in 3DS Max/Maya & Photoshop/Substance Painter
- High-quality 3D asset creation (environments, vehicles, props)
- Excellent artistic skills (composition, realism, texture, lighting)

- Meets deadlines and maintains consistent quality
Good to have:
- Experience with Zbrush, Substance Designer
- Knowledge of various art styles (realistic, stylized)
- Understanding of vehicle design, anatomy, architecture

Responsibilities
- Work with managers and other artists to clearly understand client’s requirements
- Create high-quality 3D artworks (in all categories such as Environment, Vehicle, Props, Hard Surface, Character) as assigned
- Understand and follow art direction to guarantee the consistency of assets
- Complete all tasks in a timely manner and to a consistent high-quality standard
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of 3DSMax and/ or Maya
- Expert knowledge of Photoshop/ or Substance Painter
- Highly creative and artistic individual. Have an eye for composition, realism, texture, color, and lighting.
- Ability to work under high pressure
- Respond positively to feedback and the ability to adapt and refine work based on that feedback to ensure the client’s expected quality
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management skills
Additional points:
- 2+ years of work experience as a 3D Game Artist is an advantage
- Familiarity with Zbrush, Substance Designer and basic English will be a plus
- Proven experience or knowledge of specificities in related fields (vehicle knowledge, anatomy, architecture, etc.)
- Knowledge of different art styles (Realistic, Stylized, Hand-Painted, etc.)
