As a 3D Modeler at Limit Break, you'll bring game characters to life through captivating animations. Collaborate with art and design teams to create visually stunning character animations for mobile games. Responsibilities include developing high-quality stylized 3D character animations, working with artists and programmers for seamless integration, creating dynamic motions that enhance gameplay, staying updated with industry trends and tools, optimizing animations for mobile performance, and collaborating effectively with the team. You'll contribute to the game's storytelling and visual appeal, ensuring smooth and lifelike movements.
Must have:
  • Develop high-quality 3D character animations for mobile games
  • Collaborate with artists, designers, and programmers
  • Create visually appealing and dynamic character motions
  • Proficient in animation tools (Maya, Blender)
  • Strong portfolio showcasing animation and mobile game design expertise
  • 5-7 years of experience in 3D character animation with at least 3 years in mobile games
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with Unity 3D
  • Contribution to character design
  • Knowledge of game design principles
  • Experience with interactive animations
  • Optimization techniques for mobile platforms
  • Basic 3D modeling skills
  • Experience with motion capture

About the Role

As a 3D Modeler you will play a key role in bringing our game characters to life through captivating animations and movements. You will collaborate with the art and design teams to create visually stunning and realistic character animations for our mobile games.We value individuals with strong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities, excellent communication skills, a keen eye for visual aesthetics, and a boundless well of creativity. Responsibilities. What you’ll do



●      Develop and implement high-quality stylized 3D character animations for mobile games, ensuring smooth and lifelike movements.
●      Work closely with artists, designers, and programmers to integrate character animations seamlessly into the game environment.
●      Create visually appealing and dynamic character motions that enhance the gaming experience and contribute to the game's storytelling.
●      Stay current with industry trends and tools related to character animation, rigging, and motion capture to ensure the adoption of best practices and cutting-edge techniques.
●      Optimize character animations for performance on mobile devices without compromising quality, considering constraints such as file size and processing power.
●      Collaborate effectively with team members to incorporate feedback and iterate on animations to achieve the desired visual and gameplay goals.


Requirements. Who you are and what you’ve done



●      Bachelor's degree in Animation, Animation Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
●      5-7  years+ of proven experience in 3D character animations with at least 3 years in mobile games
●      Strong understanding of specifics and experience with anime-style 2D and 3D animations
●      Proficient in industry-standard animation tools (e.g., Maya, Blender) and a strong understanding of rigging and character setup.
●      A strong portfolio showcasing your character animation and mobile game design expertise.
●      Strong communication and collaboration skills.
●      Passion for gaming and staying up-to-date with industry trends.


Nice to have. 



●      Familiarity with game development engines, especially Unity 3D.
●      Ability to contribute to character design, including concepts and sketches, in collaboration with the art team.
●      Knowledge of game design principles and the ability to align character animations with overall game design objectives.
●      Experience with interactive animations and in-game events to enhance player engagement.
●      Familiarity with techniques for optimizing character animations specifically for mobile platforms.
●      Basic 3D modeling skills to assist in refining or modifying character assets as needed.
●      Enthusiasm for adapting to and experimenting with emerging technologies in character animation.
●      Previous experience with motion capture systems and data integration into character animations
