Job Description

The Account Director will be responsible for managing large revenue accounts and opening new revenue streams by securing new enterprise logos. They will leverage SWZD’s solutions to enhance client initiatives across brand awareness, demand generation, content creation, and research. The role also includes hunting for and closing net-new logo accounts and discovering additional business opportunities within existing accounts. Regular meetings with marketing decision-makers are required, as well as expanding relationships with current clients and growing new teams within the customer base.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of digital advertising sales experience.
  • Experience selling to marketers and C-level executives.
  • Experience working with media agencies.
  • Track record of successful sales cycle execution.
Good to have:
  • Experience with Salesforce, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Account Director - London (Hybrid)
Who you are, London-based: Are you a seasoned sales professional who can both grow strategic accounts and hunt down net-new logos? Spiceworks Ziff Davis wants you! We’re seeking an Account Director who’s eager to collaborate with leading tech companies across EMEA, helping them establish their brand and drive demand with the full SWZD product suite.
Our Account Director will manage some of our largest revenue accounts and open fresh revenue streams by landing new enterprise logos. You’ll leverage SWZD’s solutions to elevate client initiatives across brand awareness, demand generation, content creation and research.
What you’ll do: As a SWZD Account Director
What will be your responsibilities? 
  • Hunt for and close net-new logo accounts to expand SWZD’s footprint across EMEA.
  • Hunt down and discover additional business opportunities within your existing book of long-term revenue.
  • Hold regular meetings with marketing decision-makers at both the end client and agency levels.
  • Expand relationships with current clients and grow new teams within the existing customer base.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop and execute media and research campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing to determine the best approach for targeting accounts.
  • Hunt for and close net-new logo accounts to expand SWZD’s footprint across EMEA.Hunt down and discover additional business opportunities within your existing book of long-term revenue.Hold regular meetings with marketing decision-makers at both the end client and agency levels.Expand relationships with current clients and grow new teams within the existing customer base.Partner with internal teams to develop and execute media and research campaigns.Collaborate with marketing to determine the best approach for targeting accounts.Go beyond the chase to cultivate prospects into paying clients.Oversee client success and renewal revenue, including display advertising.

 

What does it take to do this job?
  • 5+ years of experience in digital advertising sales (research and content)—specifically innovative ad-tech solutions.
  • Experience selling to marketers and C-level executives.
  • Experience working with and selling to media agencies
  • A track record of successfully executing complex sales cycles.
  • Strategic, sophisticated deal planning and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding quota expectations.
  • Innate drive to be successful.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and collaborative team-player sensibilities.
  • Experience with Salesforce, PowerPoint, and Excel is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
