As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for growing the business' clientele in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, South Korea, and Hong Kong. This involves leveraging professional connections, demonstrating executive presence, and showcasing the value proposition of CleverTap products. You will build relationships with stakeholders, manage presentations, and work through the sales cycle. You will also build key account management plans and map decision-makers. Maintaining a post-sales interface to build long-term relationships is also part of the job.
Must have:
  • 2-5 years of SaaS selling experience
  • Experience working in a Startup.
  • Ability to present value propositions to CXOs.
  • Conceptual understanding of relevant technologies.
  • Experience in account management in the Malaysia region.
  • Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiation principles.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Bahasa and/or Mandarin.
Good to have:
  • Good understanding of the MarTech domain is preferred
  • Number driven approach towards accounts, targets, regional planning and retention rates is helpful
  • Knowledge of CRM software (eg. Salesforce) is a plus

About the Role:
As an Account Executive you will be responsible for growing the business’ clientele in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, South Korea and Hong Kong regions leveraging professional connections and relationships, demonstrating executive presence and value proposition for the CleverTap products. The position calls for a hands on and growth mindset in growing the business with a consultative selling approach. We are looking for a candidate who has thorough experience with exploring, navigating and managing C-level stakeholders.

What will you do:
- Own the business targets for the respective account patch and grow business and influence
- Establish and build relationships with key stakeholders within customers to understand the needs and create a compelling value proposition.
- Interact with customers, manage presentations and work through the sales cycle to achieve Q-o-Q sales quota
- Build key account management plans and map decision makers, influencers, users within the account. 
- Have a good understanding of competitive channels that the client is using and incorporate those inputs in the key account plan. 
- Build a pipeline for current quarter + next quarter
- Negotiate agreements with the customers to close the deals.
- Work with partners and scale the business through them.
- Manage the Salesforce data on a daily basis with meeting notes, sales funnel updation, etc
- Maintain post sales interface with the customers to build long term relationship and enhance the customer satisfaction

What are we looking for?
Must Have:
- 2-5 years of experience in SaaS selling
- Stronger fit exists for those having experience in working in Startup with a go-getting, hands-on approach, plugged into a hyper-growing sales organisation
- Ability to present and articulate key value propositions to CXO’s, decision makers and influencers in the assigned account with excellent communication skills in a B2B2C setup.  
- Conceptual understanding of APIs, Webhooks, SDKs, Cloud, and SaaS technologies required
- Proven experience in account management and growing the business in the existing accounts in Malaysia region
- Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Bahasa and/or Mandarin

Good to Have:

- Revenue Achievement (Booking, ARR)
- Revenue retention (NRR)
- Sustainable revenue growth (LTV)

- Behavioural: Problem Solving, Consultative selling, Communication and presentation skills, Negotiation Skills
