Job Description

The Account Executive will join the Sales team to work with well-known organizations. They will be involved in an end-to-end sales motion, helping customers reach their goals. The role involves outbound prospecting, building relationships with customers, and achieving quarterly revenue targets. It also includes developing growth plans, conducting market research, and participating in industry forums. Forecasting, documenting data using Salesforce, and collaborating with the team are also key responsibilities.
Must have:
  • 5 years B2B SaaS sales experience
  • Experience managing sales cycles of 6-12 months
  • Generate their own opportunities
  • Excellent customer service
Good to have:
  • Knowledge in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC)
  • Experience using Salesforce, Zoominfo, LinkedIn SalesNav, and Outreach

Let's break down the day-to-day a little further:

Consultative and Conceptual Selling 

  • Outbound prospecting: you'll source leads, research and connect via outbound calls, networking events, emails and other social media platforms to articulate value. 
  • Encourage real and transparent conversations with customers about their needs and challenges. You’re trying to find a customer-centric solution for key business needs. 
  • Achieve quarterly revenue targets through the acquisition of new accounts within your assigned territory.

Strategic Sales Planning

  • Develop plans for growth within the region to grow pipeline.
  • Conducts market research through multi-channel sources to stay on-top of prospects and the competitive landscape. 
  • Participates in industry forums, chapters, and associations relevant to the target customers.

Forecasting & Documentation

  • Forecasting months in advance to achieve the best results
  • Capturing and documenting data using Salesforce and completing required fields for leads and early state opportunities.
  • Collaborating with the team to find and assess gaps plus provide insights and knowledge on how to progress opportunities.
  • Identifies, develops and creates new qualified sales opportunities from leads. 

People who Excel (Your Background): 

  • 5 years related experience in B2B SaaS sales
  • Previous experience managing sales cycles of around 6-12 months 
  • Must love prospecting! Our most successful Account Executives generate their own opportunities too!
  • Previous knowledge in the governance, risk and compliance (GRC) space would be a bonus, but not a deal breaker!
  • You know the value of customer loyalty and can effectively anticipate needs, establish clear goals, and facilitate rapport
  • Experience using tools like Salesforce, Zoominfo, LinkedIn SalesNav, and Outreach
