Job Description

This Account Executive role at Google Customer Solutions focuses on mid-market sales in Sweden, requiring fluency in Swedish and English. Responsibilities include delivering on ambitious growth goals, managing a portfolio of medium to large businesses, proactively pitching and consulting with clients, driving customer growth by achieving their marketing objectives, and establishing credibility with executives. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in sales, media sales, account management, marketing, or consulting and a demonstrated ability to overachieve quotas. The role involves building multi-quarter plans, understanding growth drivers, and managing risks to expand advertising investment.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in sales, media sales, account management, marketing or consulting.
  • Ability to communicate in Swedish and English fluently to support client relationships in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and promoting.
  • Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Demonstrated ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Sweden, and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and high executive functioning within the digital marketing space.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business growth and product growth goals.
  • Own a portfolio of medium and large size businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers proactively to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Drive customer growth by achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Establish credibility with executives and serve as a trusted partner to optimize and expand their advertising investment.
