Job Description

This Account Manager role at Google focuses on large Fintech clients in China (Shanghai and Beijing). Responsibilities include building and managing client relationships, understanding their business challenges and marketing objectives, working with internal/external stakeholders to ensure project completion, achieving business growth targets by presenting Google advertising solutions, and developing data-driven recommendations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in English and Mandarin, experience in advertising/sales/marketing, and a deep understanding of Google Ads products. They will be responsible for planning and executing strategies to help clients reach their marketing goals and achieve significant growth.
Must have:
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • 2+ years experience in advertising/sales/marketing

Good to have:
  • Master's degree in business
  • Experience in a complex organization
  • Experience managing digital marketing campaigns

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a business related field.
  • 2 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experience in managing digital marketing and advertising campaigns, projects, and relationships with customers or agencies.
  • Understanding of Google Ads products and platform.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with clients, and develop an understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workflows and projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
  • Plan for and achieve business growth targets through the presentation of Google advertising products and solutions that will help clients meet their marketing objectives.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build a knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
