Job Description

This Account Manager role focuses on driving business growth for Google's large clients in the Apps and Gaming sector. Responsibilities include delivering against quarterly business and product growth goals, owning a portfolio of businesses, understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities, managing risks, and developing multi-quarter plans. The role involves pitching and consulting with clients, managing budgets, developing a robust sales pipeline, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills are crucial for success, along with experience in online media and digital marketing. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to understand client needs and develop tailored advertising strategies that achieve significant business results.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising, business development, or marketing
  • Fluent English communication
  • Client relationship management
  • Achieving client success through business techniques
  • Developing multi-quarter plans for client growth
Good to have:
  • Experience in assessing and achieving client success
  • Storytelling and thought leadership in digital marketing
  • Managing multiple projects for internal/external stakeholders

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative business, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in assessing and achieving client success by business techniques, including questioning and objection handling.
  • Ability to build narratives using storytelling as a client engagement strategy, with exhibiting thought leadership and executive functioning within the digital marketing space.
  • Ability to guide and manage multiple projects for internal and external stakeholders with developing recommendations.

We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against quarterly business growth and product growth goals, while driving customer growth by delivering customer business experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Own a portfolio of businesses by understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers to support marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline that helps to manage business and maximize impact.
  • Partner with team members and a set of cross-functional partners to drive business opportunities that build long-term growth, while focusing on stakeholder management internally and externally, and relationship building with the end customers.
