Job Description

This Account Manager role at Google focuses on large customer sales for Apps and Gaming. Responsibilities include achieving quarterly business and product growth goals, driving customer growth by delivering exceptional customer experiences, and meeting customer business and marketing objectives. The role involves owning a portfolio of businesses, understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities, managing risks, and developing multi-quarter plans. Key tasks include pitching to and consulting with customers on marketing discussions and budgets, developing and maintaining a sales pipeline, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive business opportunities. Strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills are crucial, along with experience in advertising, business development, or online media. The position requires fluency in English and a focus on long-term growth and stakeholder management.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising/business development/online media
  • Fluent English communication
  • Achieve quarterly growth goals
  • Manage client portfolio and relationships
  • Consult on marketing strategies and budgets

  • Experience assessing and achieving client success
  • Storytelling and thought leadership in digital marketing

  • Experience with Google's advertising products

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative business, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in assessing and achieving client success by business techniques, including questioning and objection handling.
  • Ability to build narratives using storytelling as a client engagement strategy, with exhibiting thought leadership and executive functioning within the digital marketing space.
  • Ability to guide and manage multiple projects for internal and external stakeholders with developing recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against quarterly business growth and product growth goals, while driving customer growth by delivering customer business experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Own a portfolio of businesses by understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers to support marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline that helps to manage business and maximize impact.
  • Partner with team members and a set of cross-functional partners to drive business opportunities that build long-term growth, while focusing on stakeholder management internally and externally, and relationship building with the end customers.
