Job Description

This Account Manager role at Google focuses on driving business growth for large clients in France. Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of clients, understanding their growth drivers, identifying opportunities, and building multi-quarter plans. The role requires pitching and consulting with clients on digital marketing strategies and budgets, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and achieving client marketing objectives. Strong relationship-building skills and fluency in English and French are essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in advertising, consultative business, business development, or marketing and a proven track record of success in client management and project management. They will also possess a deep understanding of online marketing strategies and digital advertising campaigns.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years advertising/business development experience
  • 1+ year CRM and project management experience
  • Fluent English and French
  • Deliver against quarterly business growth goals
  • Manage large client portfolios
Good to have:
  • Experience assessing and achieving client success
  • Leadership in digital marketing
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics
  • Experience managing digital advertising campaigns
  • Ability to build narratives and storytelling

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative business, business development, online media environment, or marketing roles.
  • 1 year of experience in customer relationship management and project management.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in assessing and achieving client success by business techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and engaging promoting.
  • Experience in leadership and high executive functioning within the digital marketing space.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics with the knowledge in managing digital advertising campaigns with performance marketing.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media business context.
  • Ability to build narratives and storytelling as a client engagement strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against motivated quarterly business growth and product growth goals.
  • Own a portfolio of large businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers to support digital marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer business experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Build relationships with the customers or agencies.
