This Account Manager role within Google's Large Customer Sales team focuses on managing and developing relationships with retail clients in the region. Responsibilities include conducting market analysis, developing advertising strategies, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to execute successful marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills (fluent in English and Mandarin), experience in digital advertising, and a proven track record of success in consultative sales. Key tasks involve understanding client business challenges, optimizing campaigns, and utilizing Google's product offerings (Google Ads, Display & Video 360, etc.) to achieve client marketing objectives. The position requires analyzing industry trends, summarizing insights, and actively sharing best practices within the team. This role necessitates strong client relationship management and collaboration with internal teams to achieve growth for both Google and its retail clients.
Must have:
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • 2+ years in digital advertising sales

Good to have:
  • Experience with Google Ads, DV360, SA360, YouTube
  • Customer-facing consulting experience
  • Product/service optimization
  • Spreadsheet & presentation skills

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, digital media sales, business development, online media environment, or digital marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in customer-facing consulting or business.
  • Experience optimizing and troubleshooting products or services.
  • Experience with Google Ads, Display and Video 360, Search Ads 360, Youtube or similar digital advertising campaigns and platforms.
  • Experience with spreadsheets and presentations.
  • Knowledge in advertising sales and media account management.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with clients, and develop an understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Conduct analysis of industry, markets, and audience to develop opportunities for customers and the vertical.
  • Summarize insights and best practices actively, and share them within the team and vertical.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, drive strategy and execution of advertiser's marketing campaigns.
