Job Description

The Account Manager is responsible for managing accounts across the Upper Midwest and Mountain States (Montana, N. & S. Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Alaska). Based in Salt Lake City, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Omaha, or Denver, this role involves consultative selling to identify cross-selling/up-selling opportunities, exceeding sales quotas, and educating customers. Responsibilities include growing client relationships, leveraging consultative selling approaches, working with partner sales personnel, delivering effective sales presentations, forecasting, and maintaining knowledge of industry trends. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of sales experience and utilize a consultative approach to meet sales objectives and support go-to-market strategies.

The Account Manager is responsible for managing accounts across defined sales territories, which includes Montana, N. and S. Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska and Alaska. Candidates can be located in Salt Lake City, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Omaha, or Denver. They leverage consultative selling approaches to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, facilitate communication on customer’s business problems, and meet/exceed sales quotas. They also use a consultative approach to educate customers and assist in sales process improvements. 
What you’ll be working on
  • Grow and expand relationships with SME clients across defined sales territories, and meets/exceeds assigned sales quotas 
  • Leverages consultative selling approaches to identify business challenges and create solutions for prospects and customers 
  • Works with partner sales personnel to extend reach and drive adoption of the Barracuda products and solutions 
  • Delivers effective sales demonstration and presentations, covering the Barracuda Networks portfolio effectively 
  • Supports in creating clear goals and complete accurate forecasting through developing a detailed territory plans 
  • Facilitates complex accounts and transaction reporting to the account managers and leadership team 
  • Maintains continuity and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technical developments, and governmental regulations that affect target markets 
  • Meets sales objectives and supports in development of go to market strategy for partnership 
  • Utilizes a consultative selling approach to educate channel partners and end-users and provide timely follow-up, closure and tracking of all identified opportunities 
  • Leverages specialized sales knowledge in breadth and depth to a variety of issues/projects within the team 
  • Works in a project-oriented manner contributing towards team-level goals 
  • Works closely with account management teams to identify SMB customer needs and provide tailored solutions 
 
Required Qualifications
 
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, customer acquisition, or related fields.
 
Preferred Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field.

Colorado Only
The anticipated on-target earnings range for this role is $113,900-151,800 OTE. Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, the budget for the position, and applicable employment laws.
