Job Description

As an Account Strategist, you'll be responsible for driving customer growth by delivering exceptional sales experiences and helping businesses achieve their marketing objectives. You'll work with a portfolio of medium- and large-sized businesses, understanding their growth drivers, identifying opportunities, managing risks, and building multi-quarter plans for success. You'll proactively pitch and consult with customers to support their annual digital marketing discussions and budgets, ensuring their advertising reaches thousands of users. You'll build strong relationships with clients and agencies, always striving for customer satisfaction and exceeding business goals.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing roles
  • Fluent communication in French and English
  • Ability to deliver against ambitious business and product growth goals
  • Own a portfolio of medium- and large-size businesses
  • Pitch and consult with customers proactively
  • Drive customer growth by delivering excellent customer sales experience
  • Build relationships with end customers or agencies

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing roles.
  • Ability to communicate in French and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and engaged promotions.
  • Experience managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.

  • Own a portfolio of medium- and large-size businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers proactively to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering excellent customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Build relationships with the end customer or agencies.
