Account Strategist at Google Customer Solutions (GCS) focusing on small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising sales/strategy
  • Fluent English communication
  • Achieve ambitious growth goals
  • Own and manage SMB portfolios
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences
Good to have:
  • Experience in performance marketing
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy
  • Competitive selling and storytelling skills
  • Ability to consistently overachieve quotas

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising sales and strategy, marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationships in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, compelling narratives, storytelling, and competitive selling.
  • Expertise in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.

  • Own a portfolio of small businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and building quarterly plans for achievement.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Pitch and consult with customers proactively to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Manage stakeholders and build relationships with the end customer or agencies.
