Job Description
- Perform general accounting functions and prepare monthly management accounts.
- Assist with daily accounting duties and supplier invoice posting.
- Follow up on supplier queries, reconcile statements, and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist in VAT Returns and prepare compliance reports.
- Liaise with the Treasury team for payment funding.
- Process weekly payment runs, ad hoc payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Calculate and maintain monthly accruals and prepayments schedules.
- Communicate with cost owners to ensure accurate accrual capture.
- Perform monthly inter-company accounting and reconciliation.
- Assist with interim, year-end audits and financial statement preparation.
- Hold a Master in Accountancy or ACCA qualification.
- Possess 3+ years of experience in Accounting.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Be organised with good verbal and communication skills.
- Have advanced Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Experience in the gaming industry.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers and a keen interest in financial operations?
We are looking for an Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting activities, and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Perform general accounting functions, including preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
- Assisting in the day to day accounting duties and the posting of supplier invoices.
- Following up any supplier queries, supplier statement reconciliations, investigation of discrepancies.
- Assisting in VAT Returns and preparing various compliance reports.
- Liaising with the Treasury team for funding needed for payments.
- Processing weekly payment runs and other ad hoc payments and respective bank reconciliations.
- Calculation and maintaining of the monthly accruals and prepayments schedules.
- Maintaining good and clear communication with various cost owners from different departments to ensure that the accruals are captured accurately.
- Monthly inter-company accounting and reconciliation.
- Assisting with interim, year-end audits and the preparation of financial statements.
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Qualified Accountant (Master in Accountancy or ACCA).
- 3+ years of experience in Accounting.
- Problem solving skills and attention to detail are very important for this role.
- Ability to work independently.
- Organised with good verbal and communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Experience in the gaming industry.
