Accountant, Cash

The opportunity

Unity Technologies is looking for a Cash accountant to be an integral part of our revenue accounting operations team! You will be working cross functionally with our Treasury, Payments, and Revenue accounting operations team. Your responsibilities will include cash application to open customer invoices (supporting our automated and manual processes), processing refunds, performing reconciliations, researching customer payment questions (internal and external clients), month end close duties, and special projects.

This is a hybrid role based in our Bangalore office. This position requires working during late evening hours from 2 PM to 11 PM (IST), with a 1-hour lunch break included. Are you available to work during these Non-Shift hours?

What you'll be doing

• Support daily cash application processes, both automated and manual, including proactive customer outreach to ensure appropriate cash application

• Perform daily system reconciliations between bank details and enterprise reporting platforms (ERP)

• Apply credit memos and process refunds

• Support month-end close activities, including performing reconciliations over revenue-related cash accounts, and research and resolve inquiries related to invoice payment status and customer account balances

• Support audit requests for accounts receivable and revenue-related cash activity as needed, and provide support on projects driving improvement in cash application processes, automation, and internal controls in accordance with Company policies and SOX requirements

What we're looking for

• Cash accounting experience

• Experience with month end close, reconciliations and audit requests

• Excellent organization skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to multitask

• Strong people and interpersonal skills, plus the ability to connect with internal and external customers globally in writing and/or verbally

• Knowledge of excel at an intermediate level

You might also have

• Experience in Software or Adtech industries

• Experienced with Blackline, SFDC, Zuora, Workday and Netsuite

• Order-to-cash business process management experience
