The Acquisition Manager, Emerging Markets at Patreon is responsible for building and executing a high-volume pipeline to commercialize new products. This involves working closely with the product team to define ideal creator profiles, develop compelling pitches, and reach out to target markets (mid and top market). The role demands high-volume outreach, closing accounts, and reporting on pipeline performance and market insights. Success requires strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of the creator economy, and leveraging existing professional networks to acquire high-potential accounts that expand Patreon's product market fit.

This role is based in Los Angeles, New York or San Francisco and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model. 

About the Role

The Acquisitions Manager, Emerging Products, is responsible for building and executing on a high volume pipeline designed to commercialize Patreon’s new products - both in the middle and top of market. The Acquisitions Manager should work cross-functionally to represent the voice of the creator, as well as strategically support the product team in developing a best in class product. 

This role will be required to leverage their professional networks to convert high potential accounts that live outside of Patreon’s current product market fit, all in alignment with the product roadmap. You will:

  • Work closely with the product team to develop ideal creator profiles for emerging products

  • Work closely with the product team to identify a ‘winning pitch’ for the product & its use cases

  • Run high volume outreach against target market segments for emerging products

  • Close high volume of mid-market creator accounts per quarter for emerging products

  • Develop & introduce emerging product pitches to a select segment of the top of the market

  • Close top of market accounts within target segment & contract case studies for emerging products

  • Manage & report on pipeline & strategic market observations to key product developers and cross-functional partners

About You

  • You possess 6-8 years of sales, partnerships, and dealmaking experience at a membership platform, social media platform, or creator technology platform

  • You have a strong network of ‘creator economy’ talent, producers, and representatives

  • You have a strong grasp on ‘creator economy’ market trends & emerging opportunities

  • You have a keen eye for assessing product market fit & predicting digital conversion

  • You are an excellent and experienced negotiator, always aiming to get the most and give the least, but never putting the deal or the relationship at risk

  • You have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

  • You like to WIN and have fun doing it!

Compensation Range: $161.5K - $218.5K
