Job Summary

Job Description

As an Administrative Business Partner at Google Customer Solutions in Tokyo, Japan, you will be the heart of your team's operations, anticipating needs and resolving issues proactively. You'll manage calendars, book travel, schedule facilities, and plan events (All Hands, offsites, leadership meetings), coordinating content, speakers, and logistics across multiple offices. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication to interact with various teams and job functions. You will also contribute to defining new operational strategies and mentor new team members. Proficiency in Google products and services is a plus. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, possesses strong business judgment, and can handle multiple priorities independently.
Must have:

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • 3 years of administrative experience in a technology company or multinational environment working on administrative tasks (e.g., travel management, expense reports, calendar management, facilities coordination, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with calendar management over international timezones, travel scheduling and booking, and budgeting of events.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate across a range of people and job functions.
  • Ability to adhere to an expectation of confidentiality on all business matters.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities independently with attention to detail and excellent organisation skills with ability to project manage.

Responsibilities

  • Perform an array of administrative tasks (manage calendars, book travel, and schedule facilities and equipment).
  • Plan and execute events (All Hands presentations, Offsites, leadership meetings) by coordinating content creation, organizing fun events, identifying speakers.
  • Coordinate duties for multiple offices.
  • Build responsiveness into existing operations, and help define new operational strategies.
  • Serve as a technical lead for and manager of small projects, and mentor new team members.
