Responsibilities
- Interpret written text and conceptualize illustrations that effectively convey the story, themes, and emotions.
- Create sketches, storyboards, and concept art to communicate ideas and gain approval before proceeding with final illustrations.
- Develop characters, settings, and scenes that align with the tone and style of each book.
- Use traditional and digital illustration techniques to produce high-quality artwork that meets project deadlines.
- Collaborate with authors, editors, and designers to ensure illustrations seamlessly integrate with the book layout and design.
- Revise and refine illustrations based on feedback from stakeholders while maintaining artistic integrity.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously improve skills and creative output.
- Adhere to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards to deliver exceptional results.
