Zeeco is seeking an Aftersales Engineer (West) to foster a robust work environment with opportunities for growth and collaboration with industry leaders. The role also involves assisting with the commissioning and troubleshooting of combustion equipment, evaluating operational status, and providing technical education. The engineer will negotiate with decision-makers, influence strategic end-users, and gather customer feedback for improvement. Collaboration with product and sales teams is essential. Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferred) and significant work experience with combustion equipment. Knowledge of combustion equipment, chemical processing, or hydrocarbon processing industries, along with proven customer service and sales experience, is required. Strong technical capabilities, excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and negotiation skills are crucial. Key Responsibilities

    • Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
    • - Build and maintain trust with clients by offering exceptional technical assistance.
      - Identify key personnel within client organizations and develop long-term working relationships.
      - Engage with clients to understand their needs and position Zeeco products and services effectively.
    • Sales Promotion & Opportunity Generation:
    • - Actively promote Zeeco products and services to existing and potential customers.
      - Identify sales opportunities and work to generate inquiries.
      - Follow up on open quotes and assist in closing orders.
      - Identify and leverage facility maintenance turnaround schedules to offer solutions.
    • Technical Support & Commissioning:
    • - Assist with the commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting of combustion equipment.
      - Evaluate the operational status of equipment and provide scope definitions.
      - Provide technical education and support to enhance the performance of Zeeco’s manufacturer’s representatives.
    • Negotiation & Influence:
    • - Negotiate and influence decision-makers to establish working agreements with strategic end-users.
      - Identify opportunities to improve Zeeco’s offerings through customer feedback.
    • Continuous Improvement & Collaboration:
    • - Work closely with Zeeco’s product teams to provide actionable feedback for improvement.
      - Collaborate with sales teams to align strategies and achieve regional goals.
    • Other job as assigned.

Qualifications

    • Educational Background:
    • - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred).
      - Significant work experience with combustion equipment (required).
    • Professional Experience:
    • - Knowledge of combustion equipment, chemical processing, or hydrocarbon processing industries.
      - Proven customer service and sales experience.
      - Experience in assessing and resolving technical issues.
    • Skills & Attributes:
    • - Strong technical capabilities with an independent and proactive work ethic.
      - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to influence and negotiate.
      - Strong problem-solving ability and a results-driven mindset.
    • - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
