Must have:

  • Experience managing security technology systems
  • Knowledge of security best practices and procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Job Details

The Match Group Protect team is dedicated to preventing real world harm and countering threats against Match Group’s global portfolio of employees, properties and brands. The Protect team is looking for a Security and Intelligence Specialist to support Physical Security, Protective Intelligence, and Investigation functions of our department. The role will be responsible for monitoring and assessing threats and supporting the buildout of standard operations procedures.

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, critical thinker who applies risk-based assessment methodologies to broad safety and security concerns. You will have experience partnering with the business to identify and communicate risks, implementing a “customer-focused” approach to safety and security operations. This role requires effective communication skills to engage key stakeholders and decision-makers, as well as approaching the work with a team-mindset. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence related to potential threats to our organization's assets, personnel, and operations. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

How you'll make an impact:

    • Monitor and analyze intelligence sources, including open-source information, law enforcement reports, and internal data, to identify potential security threats.
    • Prepare intelligence reports and briefings for management and other stakeholders, summarizing key findings and providing recommendations.
    • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security weaknesses and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Assist in threat assessments, risk analysis, and site surveys.
    • Assist cross functional teams in crisis management situations affecting business operations.
    • Conduct camera reviews and investigations in conjunction with HR and Legal.
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as IT, HR, Cyber Security, and Trust & Safety, to ensure a coordinated security approach.
    • Maintain a database of intelligence information and ensure its accuracy and accessibility.
    • Respond to security incidents and provide support during crisis situations.
    • Develop and support implementation security protocols and procedures.
    • Provide training and awareness programs to employees on security matters.
    • Collaborate with the Physical Security team, Security Technology, and Security Operations Center to ensure alarms are effectively monitored and actioned.
    • Draft and update standard operating procedures

    • You have 3+ years of experience in security, intelligence, or law enforcement.
    • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • You have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • You are proficient in using intelligence analysis software and databases.
    • You have experience managing security technology systems.
    • You have knowledge of security best practices and procedures.
    • You are able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

It would be a plus if:

    • You have certifications in security management or intelligence analysis.
    • You have experience working in a corporate security environment.
    • You have foreign language proficiency.
