Lionbridge Games seeks a passionate VR Test Analyst to contribute to the future of VR gaming. Responsibilities involve developing test plans, designing detailed test cases, executing manual and automated tests (functional, regression, integration, UAT), tracking defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla, analyzing test results, reporting findings, participating in retrospectives, and collaborating with developers and stakeholders. The role requires 3+ years of software/game testing experience, 3-6+ months of VR testing experience, and proficiency in French and English. The successful candidate will independently manage testing tasks, possess strong communication skills, and contribute to continuous process improvement within an Agile environment.

Veuillez noter qu'il s'agit d'un poste 100% sur site, basé dans notre studio à Brossard, QC.

 

Ce que vous ferez :

  • Planification & Conception des Tests – Développer des plans de test, définir des objectifs et créer des scénarios de test détaillés basés sur les exigences. Préparer les données de test nécessaires et automatiser les tests si nécessaire.
  • Exécution des Tests & Suivi des Défauts – Réaliser des tests manuels et automatisés (fonctionnels, régression, intégration, UAT). Identifier, documenter et suivre les défauts à l’aide d’outils comme JIRA ou Bugzilla.
  • Analyse & Reporting – Analyser les résultats des tests, évaluer la gravité des défauts et communiquer les conclusions via des rapports et des métriques.
  • Amélioration Continue – Participer aux rétrospectives, proposer des améliorations de processus et rester à jour sur les meilleures pratiques et outils de test.
  • Collaboration – Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les développeurs, les chefs de produit et les parties prenantes pour assurer la qualité tout au long du cycle de développement, y compris dans un cadre Agile.

 

Pour réussir dans ce poste :

  • 3+ ans d’expérience pratique dans les tests de jeux or logiciels.
  • 3-6+ mois d'expérience en tests de réalité virtuelle (VR), y compris la validation de la fonctionnalité, de la performance et de l'expérience utilisateur.
  • Capacité à gérer et exécuter de manière autonome les tâches de test avec un minimum de supervision de la part d'un chef d'équipe.
  • Une formation supérieure en langues ou en technologie est souhaitée, ainsi qu'une bonne maîtrise des outils de suivi et de support des tests et de MS Office.
  • Bonnes compétences interpersonnelles, créativité, efficacité, souci du détail et bonne organisation du travail.
  • Compétences efficaces en communication en français et en anglais afin de transmettre clairement les résultats et les idées.

o L’anglais à l’oral de niveau débutant et écrit de niveau intermédiaire requis car la majorité des clients desservis sont localisé à l’extérieur du Québec. La langue source des tests et les consoles appartiennent aux clients. Les cas de tests doivent être envoyés dans la langue du client.

Please note that this is a 100% on-site position based at our studio in Brossard, QC.
 

What You Will Do:

  • Test Planning & Design – Develop test plans, define objectives, and create detailed test cases based on requirements. Prepare necessary test data and automate tests when needed.
  • Test Execution & Defect Tracking – Perform manual and automated testing (functional, regression, integration, UAT). Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Analysis & Reporting – Analyze test results, assess defect severity, and communicate findings through reports and metrics.
  • Continuous Improvement – Participate in retrospectives, suggest process improvements, and stay updated on testing best practices and tools.
  • Collaboration – Work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle, including Agile ceremonies.

 

To Be Successful You Will Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in software or game testing.
  • 3-6+ months of experience with VR testing, including functionality, performance, and user experience validation.
  • Ability to independently manage and execute testing tasks with minimal oversight from a Lead.
  • Knowledge of the video game and software markets, and testing methodologies.
  • Preferred higher education in languages or technology, good command of test tracking and support tools, and MS Office.
  • Good interpersonal skills, creativity, efficiency, attention to detail, and good work organization.
  • Effective communication skills in French and English to convey findings and insights clearly.

o Beginner level spoken English and intermediate level written English required as most clients are outside Quebec. The source language of the tests and consoles belong to clients. Test cases need to be sent in the client’s language.
