This Analytical Lead role at Google supports Financial Services clients in Washington, D.C. Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in digital media or marketing analytics, advertising sales, media measurement solutions, or consulting, or 3 years with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with clients, advising on marketing/business performance, and influencing decisions together with insights and measurement.
  • Experience performing marketing experiments, return on investment/financial modeling, and statistical analyses.
  • Experience with online advertising (Search, Display, Video/TV), website analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), or brand analysis techniques.
  • Familiarity with brand and performance marketing and measurement solutions (e.g., MMM, Experiments, MTA, incrementality, etc.).
  • Ability to analyze datasets, identify actionable insights, and communicate findings via presentations or dashboards.
  • Excellent communication skills with comfort delivering simple and interesting stories to audiences of all levels.

In this role, you will support our Financial Services customers in Washington, D.C.. You will use data and insights to solve problems that meaningfully transform the businesses and help achieve the objectives. You will foster and lead relationships with client marketing, strategy, and analytics stakeholders. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to construct thoughtful, inspirational points of view that influence key decision makers while also properly handling objections. You will be a collaborative team player who builds trust and motivates change both internally and externally.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $103,000-$148,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Provide support and consulting on client's/partner’s strategy in the areas of sales, marketing or product development, and translate data into answers to business questions or insights to facilitate business decision-making.
  • Develop and own investigative modeling for key client/partner projects, apply or customize investigative tools (e.g., dashboards) and frameworks to identify opportunities, and develop solutions to optimize client/partner business and maximize the use and effectiveness of Google products.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive business growth with clients/partners, conduct in-depth analysis and identify business opportunities, and support the development of go-to-market business pitch and marketing collateral.
  • Build and manage relationships with client/partner stakeholders across functions and levels, and own the relationship with the data/investigative stakeholders on the client’s/partner’s side.
