Job Description

Develop and integrate Valeo's AR game into a third-party IVI platform. Responsibilities include SW development, problem-solving, proposing innovative solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing to a collaborative work environment. The role requires strong Android development skills, experience with embedded systems, and familiarity with Android architecture, frameworks, and design patterns. The ideal candidate will have experience with Android Automotive, REST APIs, and various development tools. The position involves working independently and effectively communicating with team members.

Must have:

SW development background
Solid understanding of Android System Architecture
Hands-on experience with Java and Kotlin
Knowledge of Android procedures (Startup, Audio/Video, Input, GUI)
Embedded Android development experience (Native and Java)
Experience with Android SDK, NDK, JNI, HIDL
Understanding of Android Application Framework and Design Patterns (MVP, MVVM)
Android Automotive Experience
Good understanding of UI placement, Wireframes and Design Flow
Experience with REST APIs, SQL/SQLite, HTML5 & Scripting
Proficiency with Android Studio, ADB, Junit, Gradle, Mockito, Jira, Agile, Gerrit, Confluence, Android Profiling
Independent work and excellent communication skills

Integration of Valeo developed AR game into the IVI platform supplied by 3rd party

Responsibilities

Develops and integrate SW

Contributes to a work environment where people are actively sharing and discussing various ideas.

Investigates and solves complicated problems which requires comprehensive analysis.

Proposes solutions that require Innovation/Development of new procedures, techniques and methods.

Collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders on different levels.

Identifies challenges beyond the immediate tasks.

Actively seeks improvements and acts pro-actively to help the team in its everyday work.

Skills

Must have

SW development background and years of first-hand experience.

Very solid understanding of Android System Architecture.

Multiple years of Hands-on experience of Java and Kotlin language.

Knowledge of Android procedures such as Startup, Audio/ Video Stacks, Input, GUI, etc.

Multiple years of experience in embedded Android development (Native and Java)

Experience in Android development projects for mobile or other devices (OS Porting/Bring-Up)

Experience of Android SDK, NDK, JNI, HIDL.

Understanding of Android Application Framework and Design Patterns (MVP, MVVM).

Android Automotive Experience

Good understanding of UI placement, Wireframes and Design Flow.

Good understanding of REST Api, SQL/SQLite , HTML5 & Scripting

Proven experience of the tools usage: Android Studio, ADB, Junit, Gradle, Mockito, Jira, Agile, Gerrit, Confluence, Android Profiling

Ability to work independently. Excellent Communication skills & Fluent in English.
