Animator

In this role, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality animations that bring personality and energy to our games. You'll work closely with artists, designers, and developers in all areas of game development to ensure polished animations that fit seamlessly into the game experience. With a strong sense of ownership and self-leadership, you'll take initiative, make thoughtful creative decisions, and continuously push for improvement—all while staying curious and open to new ideas.

At Snowprint Studios, our games are built using Unity3D.

This role could be in either the Berlin or Stockholm Studios.

To succeed in this role, we think you have…

• A few years of experience as an Animator in the gaming industry.

• A solid understanding of art pipelines and game engines (preferably Unity3D).

• A solid understanding of animation principles and how they enhance gameplay including creating the most suitable animation for the character or item to bring out the intended personality traits.

• Strong skills in 3D animation using Maya (or similar tools)

• Experience in FK-, IK animation and rigging bipeds as well as quadrupeds, octopeds or whatever crazy idea we come up with together.

• 3D Modelling skills to improve and adapt meshes for animation purposes

• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

• A curious mindset, always looking for ways to improve and innovate.

• A passion for games and a drive to create engaging player experiences.

Nice to have:

• Experience developing mobile games

• Experience with MEL and/or python

• Understanding of game-engine rendering and technical limitations

• Experience in lighting and rendering
