Job Description
Tesla is seeking an Apprentice Vehicle Technician to join its Chatswood team. This hands-on role involves working with experienced technicians on cutting-edge electric vehicle technology. Responsibilities include providing support to the service team, completing Tesla-specific training (including a Certificate III in Automotive Electric Vehicle Technology), performing basic service work and inspections, and maintaining workshop cleanliness. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and a passion for Tesla's mission. The apprenticeship will commence in January 2025.

What You’ll DoApplications open now! Shortlisting for this role will formally begin 23rd September 2024, with the Apprenticeship starting in January 2025.
- Work as a team to deliver results and achieve daily goals
- Provide critical support to the Service Team
- Complete Tesla Specific training and a Certificate lll in Automotive Electric Vehicle Technology
- Develop knowledge of all Tesla products, service systems, process and procedures
- Perform basic service work and inspections of new and inventory cars under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and Service Centre Workshop
- Educational experience: Year 12 completion
- Eligibility to attend foundation training through a Registered Training Organisation
- Valid driver's license
- Fluent English
- Technical acumen – interest in electronics and technology
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Ability to learn on the job, work quickly, efficiently and follow instructions
- Ability to handle shifting priorities and meet deadlines
- Energetic and enthusiastic with a team-player attitude
- Love to change the status quo and work in high-pressure situations.
