Architecture and Integrated Planning Internship

• Understanding and being able to apply the principles of taking design and planning via construction into the build status such as contractual requirements for the liability and deliverables of lead consultants
• Providing analysis of existing requirements and pricing to ensure the most cost-effective options
• Learning the interdisciplinary design coordination in accordance to a defined Scope of Work with all consultants
• Being included in the project cost budgets, working on cost estimates and being involved in value engineering to develop a solid understanding of cost drivers
• Learn how to maintain day-to-day supplier relationships
• Identifying and negotiate commercial cost reduction opportunities
• Understanding and responding to supply shortages as part of procurement strategies
• Applying Project Management Tools and processes
