As an Area Operations Manager, you will be a key player in the Region team, focusing on managing driver-partner operations. This includes monitoring acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and suspension, ensuring compliance with area regulations, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize driver performance and provide an excellent experience. You will manage Driver Support Units, conduct driver engagement events, and ensure the safety, quality, and reliability of driver services. Additionally, you will lead and develop the Area Ops team and collaborate with other departments to achieve targets.
Must have:
- Minimum 5 years of operations experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team management experience
- Creative problem-solving for operational issues
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in spoken and written English
Good to have:
- SQL knowledge

About the Role
As Area Operation Manager, you will be an integral player in the Region team, especially in your designated area. Focus on managing the supply, you will handle full operational activities related to our driver-partners, including operations monitoring (that include acquisition, onboarding, engagement, suspension), ensure the SOP is in compliance with area regulations, and collaborate with various stakeholders in ensuring the full capacity of the performances of our driver-partners in efforts to provide the best experience for our drivers.
What You Will Do
- Manage Driver Support Unit (DSU)/walk in center in the area: warehouse, onboarding, troubleshooting, attribute selling, and issues escalation.
- Manage driver engagement both offline and online events, various Drivers trainings, Swadaya program implementation.
- Ensure safety, quality, productivity, compliance and reliability of supply (drivers) services.
- Lead and develop Area Ops team members to ensure they perform well and grow.
- Collaborate with other streams (e.g., Sales and User Growth) to achieve shared targets in the Area. (fulfillment rate & excellence).
- Collaborate with WPM to manage operational office well maintained
What You Will Need
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills;
- Having experience in managing a team;
- Able to create creative solutions toward operation issues and empower relevant team to execute properly;
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, SQL knowledge is a plus;
- Excellent communication, teams/stakeholders/community, and conflict management;
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
About the Team
Area Operations Manager (AOM) will work within direct command of Area Head and matrix collaboratively with the regional operations team on some projects. You will lead the Operations team consisting of Operations Supervisor and Staffs attached to your area. You play a pivotal role to improve the quality life of drivers and at the same time ensuring our consumers are easily helped by providing sufficient supply. Though everyday will be very challenging managing the entire operations in the area but you feel great satisfaction as you are directly creating a social impact.
