As an Area Sales Manager at Paytm, you'll develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company goals, managing sales teams and resources for growth. Responsibilities include defining sales force structure, creating sales training programs, managing customer expectations, and defining efficient sales processes. A key aspect of the role involves directly engaging with merchants, educating them on the benefits of EDC swipe machines, converting them as clients, and managing their accounts. Success requires exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, along with the ability to independently and collaboratively drive sales execution.

About the Role: Area Sales Manager    

1. 8+ yrs of experience of Distribution sales in EDC, fintech, Banking / i
     nsurance Sales. 
2.  Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving 
     the company's sales goals.
3. Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal 
    achievement. 
4. Manage the sales teams, operations and resources to deliver growth. 
5. Define optimal sales force structure. 
6. Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to 
     achieve their potential and support company sales objectives. 
7. Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of      
     customer satisfaction.
8. Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify 
    improvements. 
9. Going to the Merchant and educating him/her about the benefits of the      Swipe machine (EDC) converting them and managing their accounts. 
10. Exceptional communication, presentation skills and relationship    
     building skills. 
11. Ability to aggressively manage the successful execution of a sales 
      strategy. 
12. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.     

Requirement/Expectation: 

1. Graduation is a must.  
2. 8+ yrs of experience of Distribution sales in Oil & Gas, fintech, Banking/ 
    Sales. 
3. Exceptional communication, presentation skills and relationship 
     building skills. 
4. Ability to aggressively manage the successful execution of a sales 
     strategy. 
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
