Job Description

As an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Sales Specialist III at Google Cloud, you'll build and expand customer relationships, deliver business value, and demonstrate product functionality. You'll work with customers to identify AI use cases, build new products using AI solutions, and manage business cycles. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams (Customer Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Channels) to develop go-to-market strategies, drive pipeline growth, and ensure excellent customer experience. Responsibilities include achieving strategic business goals, developing account plans, and understanding customer technology footprints and strategies. You'll need to work with multiple customers and opportunities simultaneously, and work within a responsible AI framework.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a sales role in the enterprise software, cloud space, or AI space.
  • Experience identifying AI use cases to solve customer challenges or promote AI technology to clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience supporting long-term executive relationships, and developing new territories/accounts while ensuring customer success, adoption and expansion.
  • Experience carrying and exceeding strategic business goals in a sales role.
  • Experience prioritizing, planning, and organizing solution-based sales activity within business cycles, including qualifying high value accounts and leveraging partner ecosystem.
  • Experience working with internal/external teams, including account teams, technical leads, procurement, and legal, to inventory existing software estate, build business cases for transformation with implementation plans, and resolve agreements.
  • Knowledge of market trends, products, and solutions of Cloud and AI.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and active listening skills.

As an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Sales Specialist, you will help grow the AI business by building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers. In this role, you will work with customers to deliver business value, demonstrate product functionality, and provide a comprehensive overview of key business use cases. Sales cycles will include a combination of productivity use cases, as well as working with product teams to help customers build new products leveraging AI solutions. You will lead day-to-day relationships with cross-functional team members and external customers, while identifying innovative ways to multiply impact and the impact of the team as a whole to drive overall value for Google Cloud.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$194,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with customers as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor, manage business cycles, identify solution use cases, and influence long-term strategic direction of accounts.
  • Deliver quota and achieve or exceed strategic business and growth goals while forecasting and reporting territory business.
  • Work with Google accounts and cross-functional teams (e.g., Customer Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Channels) to develop go-to-market strategies, drive pipeline and business growth, resolve agreements, understand the customer, and provide excellent prospect and customer experience.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans informed by responsible AI framework across an assigned territory or market.
  • Work with multiple customers and opportunities simultaneously, understanding each customerā€™s technology footprint and strategy, growth plans, business drivers, competitors, and how they can transform their business using technologies.
