SUMMARY: Works in close partnership with senior leadership to provide creative feedback and assist in the development and execution of a wide range of graphic design and branding projects for Nintendo of America (NOA).
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Navigates organizational complexity and exercises sound judgment in application of ambiguous or untested brand and IP usages; drives alignment across stakeholder functions within NOA (Nintendo of America) and with parent company teams.
Provides brand and IP insight, guidance and creative direction for internal partners.
Serves as primary reviewer and approver for creative materials produced by NOA (Nintendo of America), NOCL (Nintendo of Canada Ltd.) and LatAm (Latin America) and related external agencies, providing feedback on brand and creative direction where appropriate.
Troubleshoots design projects with designers to meet business objective and client needs.
Collaborates with internal marketing groups provide feedback on the look and feel of campaigns and promotional materials.
Collaborates with other departments to successfully manage and maintain continuity of brands.
Participates in client and partner creative discussions.
Approves art design; reviews and approves design materials created within Nintendo of America (NOA) to ensure Nintendo IP and brand consistency across all company marketing initiatives.
Reviews and approves various brand and style guidelines.
Drives constructive feedback and conversations in a positive way.
Proactively educates internal Nintendo teams, partners and agencies on Nintendo brand and IP usage by conducting educational sessions.
Supports quick-turn mockups and designs as needed.
Provides support on special projects as assigned.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of eight (8) or more years of related experience.
Graphic design experience in the video gaming industry preferred.
Working knowledge of print production, color management and to print quality management.
Experience on large advertising or marketing campaigns.
Strong technical knowledge of the video game design and development process preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Extensive knowledge of Adobe platform computer software (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign), macOS and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent understanding of marketing and advertising principles.
Ability to cover multiple responsibilities with tight schedules in a fast-paced environment.
Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job family or field.
Undergraduate degree in Graphic Design, Art, Advertising, a related field, or equivalent experience.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $114,000 - $205,000 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
