Onward Search seeks an Assistant Buyer for a 1-month, on-site contract position at an apparel and footwear company in Costa Mesa, CA. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the purchase order process from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Assist with pricing strategies to maximize sales, margins, and inventory management, in alignment with fiscal goals.
- Support the development of assortment plans and sales forecasts while writing reports and analyzing sales data to drive business decisions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail buying or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
