We are seeking an Assistant Director of Production to collaborate with our VP in managing all aspects of daily video production across multiple teams. This role involves overseeing the entire production pipeline, from idea generation and writing to producing and editing. You will also lead and support the creation of both long-form videos and shorts. As Assistant Director of Production, you will manage a talented team, ensuring smooth execution of all daily production tasks.


What You'll Do

  • Work closely with the VP and CEO to oversee all production across multiple channels.
  • Manage production staff including coaching and evaluating performance.
  • Collaborate with the upper management to ensure that the production meets their vision
  • Monitor production quality and ensure that all requirements are met
  • Resolve any production-related issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Be willing to jump into any section of the pipeline to help solve set-backs or create plan B’s
  • Assist with any and all duties and needs of the Daily Video Production Grind


What We're Looking For

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as film, television or Fine Arts
  • 5+ years of experience in the film, television, or theater industry, with a focus on production management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, as they are responsible for leading and supervising a production team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as they must be able to work effectively with a wide range of people in all levels of the company.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills, as a director of production must be able to adapt to changing circumstances and find solutions to challenges that may arise during the production process.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools, such as Photoshop, Premier, and more
