The Assistant Project Manager (Internship) will support the localization project management team, manage localization requests, communicate with clients, prepare files and quotes using Plunet, assist the Finance team with invoicing, prepare documentation, and assist with file handling and project setup. They will work closely with internal and external teams. This role involves coordinating daily operations, handling client communications, and ensuring the highest standard of localization quality for video game titles.
Must have:
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Comfortable communicating with clients in a professional manner.
  • Experience in a client-facing position.
  • Solid understanding of localization workflows and industry practices.
  • Good organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on attitude and adapts quickly.
  • Eager to learn and grow professionally.
Good to have:
  • Prior experience in localization project management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with key industry tools such as MS Office and CAT tools.
  • Experience or knowledge of audio projects and/or LQA is a plus.
  • A passion for gaming is a huge plus.

We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager (Internship) (f/d/m) to join our dynamic team of gaming localization experts in the heart of Berlin. As an Assistant Project Manager (Internship), you will be responsible for managing the localization of video game titles from our prestigious clients while collaborating with all relevant in-house teams (translation, engineering, LQA, audio) to ensure the highest standard of localization quality.


YOUR ROLE

  • Support the localization project management team in coordinating daily operations across our global client portfolio.
  • Independently manage localization requests, communicating directly with clients via email or messaging tools (e.g. Slack, Teams).
  • Prepare files and create quotes using Plunet.
  • Assist the Finance team in ensuring our projects are invoiced in a timely manner.
  • Prepare Documentation of workflows and processes in Confluence.
  • Assist with file handling, imports and project setup in memoQ, including request creation and project kick-offs.
  • Maintain close communication with internal and external teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Your profile

  • Solid high-level understanding of localization workflows and industry practices.
  • Prior experience in localization project management (including internships or through academia) is a big plus.
  • Familiarity with key industry tools such as MS Office and CAT tools (e.g. memoQ).
  • Experience or knowledge of audio projects and/or LQA is a plus.
  • Good organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Well organized and structured, with a keen eye for detail.
  • A proactive, hands-on attitude - someone who takes initiative and adapts quickly.
  • Eager to learn and grow professionally.
  • A passion for gaming is a huge plus.
