Job Description

Onward Search seeks an Associate Account Executive for a major entertainment company. This is a 3-month, full-time, hybrid contract role in NYC. Responsibilities include cultivating client and agency relationships, analyzing business trends, proposing optimized inventory solutions, creating presentations, preparing proposals and RFPs, leading pitch preparation, securing client assets, compiling reports, collaborating with internal teams, identifying new prospects, staying updated on industry trends, and contributing to a positive work culture. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in linear and/or digital platforms, proficiency in media math, strong strategic thinking, excellent communication, and exceptional organizational skills.

Join our client's team as a dynamic and driven professional, where you will play a pivotal role in fostering and nurturing relationships with clients and agencies. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying and translating customer needs into actionable opportunities, ensuring our client remains at the forefront of the industry.

This is a full-time 3 month contract opportunity. The role is located is NYC, NY and is hybrid onsite Monday - Thursday. The application deadline is Tuesday 4/22

 

Associate Account Executive Responsibilities: 

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with agency investment and strategy teams.

  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for Account Executives, offering insights into opportunities across diverse media types.

  • Analyze linear business trends to uncover and recommend digital opportunities.

  • Utilize your deal expertise to propose optimized inventory solutions proactively.

  • Craft and deliver compelling presentations to clients, showcasing our client's offerings.

  • Prepare professional proposals and respond to RFPs with precision and timeliness.

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of pitch and wrap-up decks for campaigns.

  • Act as the primary contact for securing client assets and approving mock-ups.

  • Compile and present weekly and quarterly sales and client status reports.

  • Collaborate with category vertical teams to drive business growth.

  • Partner with Sales Planners and other teams for seamless campaign implementation.

  • Identify and qualify new client prospects for various portfolios.

  • Stay informed on video advertising trends and industry innovations.

  • Provide competitive updates and relevant content to the team.

  • Contribute to a culture of inclusion and uphold the values of our client.

 

Associate Account Executive Requirements: 

  • Over 4 years of relevant experience, with a background in Linear and/or Digital platforms.

  • Proficiency in media math and data analysis.

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with an entrepreneurial mindset.

  • *To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
