The Associate Account Executive will be responsible for executing a strategic client growth plan in partnership with a global sales team focused on the Financial Services market. This role involves upselling to existing clients, requiring research, initiating discussions, prospecting, conducting demos, managing product trials, and closing sales. The candidate will partner with global sales and customer success teams, forecast accurately, and gather market and client product needs information. Responsibilities include building strong internal relationships and delivering on revenue outcomes.
Must have:
  • Prior B2B SaaS sales experience in Financial Services.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to actively listen and understand client needs.
  • Able to cold call and prospect across a client base.
  • Ability to travel to clients on a regular basis.

About The Role

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, driven, and accomplished Strategic Associate Account Executive, focused on assisting execute an enterprise growth strategy in partnership with a global sales team devoted to our largest global client relationships in the Financial Services market. Who You Are

  • Prior sales experience with a B2B SaaS solution and a customer network in the Financial Services market (buy side and sell side).  
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets; we maintain a team of top sales performers and a great winning culture.  Reputation for consistently delivering results and setting the example for work ethic, initiative, enthusiasm, and commitment.
  • Ability to listen actively, ask insightful questions, and uncover the real needs of the client, becoming a trusted partner.  Use your knowledge of the industry, competitive environment, and client experiences to identify trends and stay ahead of customer needs.  
  • Partner with the global sales team to help execute a strategic client growth plan with the global sales team for your book of accounts across a shared revenue target.   
  • Able to cold call and prospect across a client base while building a pipeline. 
  • Partner with our Global Customer Success, Sales Development and Product Specialist teams to deliver strong growth across a defined client base.
  • Conduct product demonstrations in a value-based sales environment.
  • Quick learner and able to implement feedback effectively.
  • An energetic and creative individual, possessing natural curiosity with the ability to learn quickly.  Must have a strong work ethic.  
  • Strong ability to develop rapport with new people, and to maintain relationships, combined with a positive, outgoing personality.
  • Outstanding communicator, whether in presentations or casual conversations, and can convey value propositions clearly across all levels of an organization.  
  • Able to distill and explain complex issues in simple terms.
  • Experience hitting six-figure or seven-figure revenue targets on an annual basis.
  • Able to travel to clients on a regular basis.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with the global sales team to help execute a strategic client growth plan with the global sales team for your book of accounts across a shared revenue target.   
  • This role is focused on upselling existing client relationships, requiring you to research opportunities, initiate discussions, prospect new teams, conduct demos, manage product trials, and close sales.
  • Develop strong internal relationships, garnering buy in from those you partner with and marshaling resources to deliver on revenue outcomes.  
  • Coordinate with your team to forecast accurately and develop the necessary pipeline to meet and exceed goals.
  • Work closely with our Product Specialist team during trials to ensure client engagement
  • Gather and pass on information on market and client product needs to sales, product management, content, and product marketing to help us continually enhance our products.

For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all US-based roles based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed below.

We offer a competitive benefits program, a generous commission plan with uncapped earning potential as well as equity.

Base Compensation Range

$73,000 - $107,000 USD
