The Associate Account Manager will proactively sell Tesla vehicles to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in France with fleets up to 100 vehicles. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining client relationships, managing the entire customer journey, meeting sales objectives (new accounts, order confirmations, scheduling meetings, proactive outreach, test drives), and actively reaching out to uncontacted SMEs. The role involves owning client relationships, educating them about Tesla's offerings, ensuring excellent customer experience, establishing company car policies, partnering with the retail channel, managing contracts, and collaborating with the Business Sales Manager on sales strategies. Additional duties include facilitating partner meetings, maintaining product knowledge, conducting competitor analysis, using internal tools, ensuring contractual obligations are met, and process improvements.

L’Associate Account Manager sera responsable de la vente proactive destinée aux petites et moyennes entreprises (PME) avec une flotte allant jusqu'à 100 véhicules. Vous serez responsable d'établir et de maintenir des relations avec ces clients ainsi que de gérer l'intégralité du parcours client de bout en bout. L’Associate Account Manager sera rattaché au Business Sales Manager et collaborera étroitement avec d'autres équipes, y compris les opérations locales et la direction des ventes commerciales du siège, afin de générer constamment de nouvelles affaires et de les renouveler.
What You’ll Do

  • Atteindre tous les objectifs de vente pour mener à bien la mission de Tesla, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter : la création de nouveaux comptes, le maintien des commandes, la planification de réunions de vente, le maintien de contacts sortants réguliers et proactifs et l'organisation d'essais routiers pour des clients potentiels
  • Contacter de manière proactive les PME qui n'ont pas encore été référencées. Opérer avec une véritable mentalité de « chasseur », avec des niveaux d'activité élevés pour stimuler la demande
  • Gérer la relation client pour les PME ; non seulement en les informant sur notre entreprise et nos offres de véhicules, mais également en garantissant un excellent parcours client et une expérience unique
  • Ouvrir les politiques de véhicules de fonction et devenir la société préférée des PME clientes
  • Contribuer au succès de nos clients en agissant comme facilitateur pour répondre à leurs besoins
  • S’associer au canal entrant des PME (vente au détail) pour stimuler davantage les ventes
  • Établir et gérer toutes les ententes contractuelles avec ces clients, le cas échéant

Tâches générales

  • S'associer activement avec le Business Sales Manager pour développer une stratégie cohérente pour la croissance des ventes interentreprises
  • Gérer votre rôle dans le plan d'affaires global en travaillant avec d'autres départements. Faciliter régulièrement et efficacement les réunions des partenaires
  • Développer et maintenir une connaissance approfondie des produits en ce qui concerne tous les véhicules, processus et solutions de financement d'entreprise. Effectuer régulièrement des analyses de la concurrence
  • Utiliser les outils internes de Tesla pour gérer votre pipeline, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, l'enregistrement des rendez-vous, des appels, des essais routiers, des contacts et des notes de réunion
  • S’assurer que les clients remplissent leurs obligations contractuelles (par exemple, les conditions de paiement)
  • Amélioration continue des processus et procédures pour réduire les frictions opérationnelles
  • Effectuer des tâches ponctuelles au besoin

The role

The Associate Account Manager will be responsible for proactively selling to small to medium-sized corporate clients (SMEs) with a fleet size of up to 100 vehicles in France. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with these clients as well as managing the full end-to-end customer journey.

The Associate Account Manager will report to the Business Sales Manager and will closely collaborate with other teams, including local operations and HQ business sales leadership to consistently drive new and repeat business.


Responsibilities

Small to Medium-Sized Corporate Clients

  • Meet all sales objectives to drive Tesla’s mission, including but not limited to: driving new account creation, solidifying orders, scheduling sales meetings, maintaining regular and proactive outbound contact, and hosting test drives for prospective clients
  • Reach out proactively to SMEs within France that have not yet referred to Tesla. Operate with a real “hunter” mentality, with high activity levels to stimulate demand
  • Own the relationship for SME corporate clients within France ; not only educating them about our company and our vehicle offerings but also ensuring a great customer journey and ownership experience throughout
  • Open company car policies and become the preferred EV OEM for SME clients
  • Drive our customers’ success by acting as a facilitator to meet their needs
  • Partner with the inbound SME channel (retail) to further drive sales
  • Establish and manage all contractual agreements with these customers where applicable

General Duties

  • Actively partner with the Business Sales Manager to develop a cohesive strategy for the growth of Business-to-Business sales within France
  • Manage your part in the overall business plan by working with other departments. Facilitate partner meetings regularly and effectively
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge in respect of all vehicles, processes and business finance solutions. Conduct competitor analysis on a regular basis
  • Use Tesla’s internal tools to manage your pipeline, including but not limited to logging appointments, calls, test drives, contacts and meeting notes
  • Ensure customers are fulfilling their contractual obligations (e.g. payment terms)
  • Continuous improvement of processes and procedures to reduce operational friction
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as and when required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in Business-to-Business or commercial sales with proven track record to meet and exceed targets and goals
  • Self-starter who possesses exceptional time management skills and has great attention to detail
  • Strong ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and adhere to business-critical deadlines
  • Passionate dedication and ethical approach to sales management and operations
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships and act as a well-respected, trusted partner that others want to work with
