The Content Associate will support the work of the content team, primarily focusing on Gigafactory Berlin Brandenburg-related (internal) communications and content creation. In doing so, this role will interact with various stakeholders within the organization and support the work of the team on-site in Berlin. Additionally, the Content Associate will help to drive awareness for Tesla and the Gigafactory by utilizing media (social and traditional) to engage with the public, customers, prospects, fans, and other stakeholders.

You will contribute to creating content that is concise, compelling and engaging, clearly communicates the intended message and is delivered in a way that is accessible to our teams or other stakeholders. This is a hands-on position that encompasses all aspects of a communications role, with a particular affinity for storytelling. This includes, but is not limited to, crafting compelling messages and content for a broad audience, planning and executing different projects, and interacting with various stakeholders, both public and internal.

You must be solution-oriented, flexible and able to work independently in a highly agile environment. You are creative, can think big but start small, and are driven to deliver results. An open and team-oriented attitude is a must. Creativity and good social communication skills are equally important.

This full-time position requires the flexibility to participate in events and activities outside of regular working hours as needed. This position offers the opportunity to gain in-depth communications experience in a young, fast-growing and high-profile company.

What You’ll Do

Help manage and drive ongoing projects, develop messaging and content
Assist the Content team with all communications tasks. Maintain internal and external contacts with all relevant stakeholders
Maintain and manage (internal) communications channels such as intranet, blogs, news articles, etc.
Identify and evaluate opportunities that build brand and product visibility at Giga Berlin
Identify and elevate potential issues to the Content and Communications Lead and solicit counsel when needed to avert crises
Build meaningful relationships with internal teams to achieve highly effective and measurable results
Create and present compelling content as well as communications to a broad audience
Develop, edit, and translate written materials, including presentations, customers messaging, content plans and FAQs, blog posts, and other collateral

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree preferred (Communications, Event Management, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or similar)
Native level written and spoken German as well as excellent English language skills
Relevant experience in corporate communications role with dedicated responsibilities around creating content, preferably for a major technology, lifestyle or automotive company or acquired on agency side
Demonstrate initiative in managing a wide range of projects with a high degree of independence
Demonstrate proficiency in writing skills to craft messaging, presentations, content plans, info materials, etc.
You must be able to communicate clearly and enjoy interacting with people from diverse backgrounds
Must have an in-depth understanding of Microsoft office suite
Must have strong organizational skills and be deadline orientated
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment
Flexibility to attend events at weekends and evenings
Valid driving license with a safe driving record
